PUBG Mobile among 118 more mobile apps banned by Indian govt: Check full list

 Ministry of Information and Broadcasting on Wednesday banned PUBG and 117 other mobile applications.

PUBG MOBILE Nordic Map: Livik, PUBG MOBILE LITE, WeChat Work and WeChat reading are among the 118 banned mobile apps.

 


“Government blocks 118 mobile apps which are prejudicial to sovereignty and integrity of India, Defence of India, Security of State and Public Order,” the ministry said during a statement.

“The Ministry of Electronics and knowledge Technology, Government of India invoking it’s power under section 69A of the knowledge Technology Act read with the relevant provisions of the knowledge Technology (Procedure and Safeguards for Blocking of Access of data by Public) Rules 2009 and insight of the emergent nature of threats has decided to dam 118 mobile apps since insight of the knowledge available they’re engaged in activities which are prejudicial to sovereignty and integrity of India, defense of India, the safety of the state and public order,” the Ministry said in a politician release.
